flying Buffet

I just ate at the one in Lodi Ca yesterday, still in bussiness. Might be closing down the ones that don't make enough money. I like the petro across the street better. but the j has my internet and we have to fuel there.

They wouldn't lose money if they had good food for a reasonable price . Flying J offers low fuel prices to get you inside where everything is overpriced .

Did not see anything lilke that but I noticed that the tile design on the floor marked out an area that looked like at one time it contained the buffet area. I passed along my hunch to the waitress and she said, "Yep, Flying J's are removing their buffets".

Not good.

Does anyone know why?

Thanks.

Oh its a good thing

FlyingJs food is junk, tastes like cardboard and isn't healthy for you.

I used to be able to count on them not messing up an old fashioned ham, eggs and hashbrown breakfast. Not any more, even that menu selection they've managed to make taste like cardboard.

And their buffets were even worse.

The last time I ate at any buffet was when I was in the bathroom and while I was washing my hands saw another person walk out UNWASHED and go straight to the buffet and begin handling the dinner rolls before selecting one for him.

NEVER EVER AGAIN will I eat at a buffet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Yup, Flying J restaurants have ALWAYS sucked. Their service is the worst of ANY chain I have ever been to...I think they must actually train their servers to SUCK? I tried different one's all over the country and they ALL had bad service, period. So, won't eat in one again. I vote with my feet.

The latest Long Haul Magazine (GOOGLE FlyingJ) just came out, in the article about the restaurants it says
You guys should write them with your comments and let them know how you feel about this stuff.
