Johnny's truck stop in Union Township has remained relatively unchanged since a national chain took it over last year. The diner counter still offers hearty specials to truckers. There are also showers, a garage for speedy mechanical repairs and a Western Union. I used to live about 15 miles from Johnny's Truck Stop. It's been there a good long time. Always filled with trucks.

Yeah it's always full, cause it has a small lot! Seriously though, it's one of the only places to stop along 78, so it's always packed. And the place was dumpy last time I stopped; pilot had just acquired it and the only changes they had made were in signage. The bathrooms/showers were a joke, but the food wasn't bad. __________________ 'You can't make chicken salad from chicken *bleep*'.Mike Ditka BE SAFE!
