But do you spend enough money at the truck stop to support a truck stop? Got any idea how much payroll alone would be?
Petro separates the drivers and cars effectively.

If you're taking OOS bids for the building construction, then PM me.

Well, looks like we've got a customer in Chicago that's starting to become a regular so I'll be looking forward to stopping in when this thing gets built.

I've noticed that over here at the hook in brookshire. Last time i was at petro we had the crappy buffet. That really needs to change for sure. Oh we just get some diesel to get us to el paso and a fountain drink that's about it that could not hold up a ts.

I thought of another thing that might have been mentioned. Having equipment for sale at normal prices would be really nice. The truck stops are all overpriced on what little they do have. For example, I need new straps to replace nearly all the old ones on my truck. I'm pretty sure that Pilot's price of $30 each is a little high. It doesn't help that they only have 3 on the shelf at any time either. When I need a bungie strap, I guess $2.49 for one isn't that bad. When I need a whole box of them, there's no way, especially when everybody wants to sell them individually.

Cat

One thing that really bothers me at truck stops, especially Flyn' 'J' is when they close off the restrooms to clean them. That is sooooo un-necessary. The cleaning person can clean around the people that are in there easily enough.
