And decent towels equal big towels. Most of us are over 5 feet tall and some of us are over 4 feet wide. Scale the towels accordingly.
And, paper towels, please...none of those "air dryers". They either blow so slight that they are useless, or they are so powerful that they blow the water and germs right back at ya.

I know, I know...paper towels are not PC, or "green"....these are just my preference..

I'd settle for both. There are some air dryers that work and they're so reliable that the company that makes them jokes about going out of business for lack of anyone needing replacements. Those would be the original models, most of which are still in operation. That crazy jet dry thing that tries to tear your skin off is just ridiculous.

As far as the paper towels, for the love of God don't get those silly dispensers that you have to wave your hand in front of to get one sheet every 10 seconds or so. I always feel like a kid in trouble for something trying to get enough sheets to dry my hands properly out of one of those.

If you have washed yourself correctly and rinsed the soap and not touched anything, then those powerful excelerator air dryers are the best. There would be no germs to blow around.

I worked in food services for many years...when I wash my hands, I use hot water, soap, and lather up past my wrists, in between my fingers, and even "scrub" my fingernails as best I can without a nail brush.

I guess I've become a bit of a "germaphobe"...I think of OTHER peoples germs blowing in my face...

I doubt you have scrubbed any harder than I have after learning the history of a patient just treated.

HIV is alot worse than some of the normal germs.

I know that, and I commend you for the valuable job you do.

I was simply commenting on the things I'd like to see in a new truck stop, and MY reasons for wanting them.

My thanks to you, and all who do the job that you do.

Believe me, I am disgusted by the people that use the facility and do not clean up after. It makes no difference. They can be doing the sitting version or the standing version and walk right out.

Others, just wet the hands, no soap and go through the motions.

I think of George Carlin talking about swimming in the east river as a kid. I don't go out of my way to pick up extra germs but I don't go to great lengths to avoid them either. I get sick about once every couple of years. I figure it's because I've already been exposed to most everything that doesn't kill you outright.

Unhappy

One of my biggest pet peeves is someone in the restroom that washes their hands, and then dispenses enough paper towel to dry 10 peoples hands, and then throws it away. Feel like smashing their head into the sink.
