I like the Iowa 80 due to all the services they offer. Pretty nice to be able to take care of a few things in one spot when your a long way from home!

Route ID

It's pretty far out in left field but Jubitz T/S [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. is my fave !!! I Only partied there a couple few times.
Allot of the Texaco and 76 stops were really super in their day, the Stoney Ridge T/S's and Truck World , Sapp Bros ,Shoemakers, and Burns Bros were also great stops. The I80 was always remodeling.
That was a big influence on me as a kid to make the road a career.
The King of the road day's of sorts, The 76's had new brown shag carpet on the walls and all sorts of cool stuff !

Another vote here for Iowa 80. Also Dysart's at mm 180 I95 in Maine gets the nod for great food, even if it is a little pricey. The 'must miss" list: Flying J Laredo TX, TA Lake Station IN, Pilot Scranton PA.

In idaho on I 84 exit 181, the Oasis truck stop, the drivers lounge is downstairs, it has great showers with tubs, it has 2 tv rooms, one for smokers and one for non smokers, as well as a game room and a weight room to work out. They have many items you need upstairs as well as a resteraunt, If you ever get by there stop and take a look, its about 9 miles east of the flying j at the twin falls exit.

Aww man.. just wait until Pilot starts driving the Js into the ground too. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

Little America, Wyoming. The building is done up like the inside of a hotel. It's very nice.

If I had a second vote, it would be for the Jubitz Travel Center in downtown Portland.

The Iowa 80 group of truck stops are pretty nice - I particularly like the Joplin Petro, which has plenty of parking spots within walking distance of a Pilot where I can go shower.

Yep, you are thinking of the World's Largest Truck Stop
Walcott, Iowa.
Interstate 80 and Exit 284
