| Wierd/questionable behavior warning: This topic concerns the possible/possibly "wierd"/possibly objectionable/ and likely what some may consider "disgusting" behavior concerning the truck only rest area located at I-70 eastbound mile marker 66 in Maryland. It is hoped that the facets discussed can include, but not limited to: 1) Actual alleged behavior(s) at the rest area based on my direct observations. a) why would someone want to "get their freak on" with a complete stranger. b) in a filthy porta potty no less. 2) Will provide detail pictures ASAP. Powerpoint #1 OK, so basically i'm coming back from ohio ( i run ohio alot as you may know) and i gotta take a massive P, so i decide to pull into this rest area located at the mm 66 on I-70 eastbound in Md. i decided this rather on the spur of the moment due to impending and urgent bodily demands as well as the fact that i had stopped here a few months earlier with no distasteful events. So, i pull in and immediately pull the trailer brake (red stop sign knob on dash) only---because i was only going to be there for a few secs. And i immediately notice some guy kind of standing next to the portapotty and sort of looking my way; i am thinking he sort of looking my way so as to give a look of sympathy as well as to garner some sort of empathy as well----(we both are going to have to wait in line)---or so i thought. i was also sort of thinking that he was just walking his dog. The problem is that there was no dog or leash. i smile, which i now think was probably not the right thing to do. i am, at this point, assuming that he is in line so i starting looking around for appropriate and adequate bush coverage---because i don't want to and really can't wait. i am figeting and doing the hopping on one foot thing---and i think the guy notices this. (This fact will become important as the story progresses.) i can't find any adequate bush coverage; i'm not going to p in front of people either. It's not something i can do. So, i decided to get closer to the portapotty to "get in line." As if this will make things go faster. (actually it did in a way) As i get closer, i noticed that there is an approximately 4"x 12" "slot" cut into the side of the portapotty's wall at waist height. a) This is the exact side that the guy waiting outside is facing. So, he CAN SEE INSIDE AT THIS TIME. b) i think, but cannot absolutely confirm that i saw the guy who was inside at the time's "(edited) area." NOTE: I WAS NOT "ACTIVELY" LOOKING FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT A TOILET---- I WAS SIMPLY WALKING IN THAT DIRECTION NOT EXPECTING ANYTHING BUT A NORMAL PORTAPOTTY AND HAD NO IDEA THAT A SLOT HAD BEEN CUT IN THE SIDE OF THE WALL. c) this is one of those portapottys with the separate "funnel" mounted on the wall that you can use to P into. i'm not sure why you can't just P into the toilet, but this is one of them that has the wall mounted "funnel;" The funnel is mounted on the same wall, at waist height, as the cutout "slot." In this case the person inside was facing this "funnel" and this is why i accidentally caught sight of the person's "(edited)" area. i think. So now, i'm thinking that this is kind of wierd. i now hastily walk back to the truck thinking i might be able to go in between the space between the trac and trailer---because i really have to go at this point----AND i don't have time to process or be concerned with the wierdness that was going on at this particular moment. As soon as i do this, i notice that the guy inside immediately exits and walks briskly back to his truck (i assume) with head kinda tilted downwards. NOTE: this type of brisk movement is abnormal and above average speed. The only thing on my mind at this point is P'ing, so i immediately go inside. But i can't P into the "funnel" because the guy is still there outside looking in! So i flip up the lid on the toilet (another horrendous story in and of itself for another thread)with my shoe. And, i am sort of P'ing sort of perpendicular to the side of the toilet the best i can with my back towards the guy. After i finish, i immediately leave the portapotty, get back to the truck, all the while thinking this is really wierd and leave. Interim notes: For women and for guys who don't get out that much. i think what alot of gay guys do when they're trying to figure out if another guy is gay is they sort stare directly into the other guys eyes. This is not really a mean stare, but like when a dog stares at you---sort of a spaced out look is the best i can describe it. i now suspect this is what the person standing outside the booth was doing. i am not sure how the person ("lookee") is supposed to react ,if he in fact is gay, towards the "looker?" i am not sure how women try to find out if another woman is gay? Much more. Last edited by Powell-Peralta; 09.17.2009 at 07.59 PM.. Reason: better title |

| 1) i'm not quite sure because i couldn't see definitively---in was dark in there with the door closed, plus it's not like i was right up to the "slot"---i was about 10 feet or so away. i will state this however: i believe he was "ready," if you know what i mean. 2) There was supposed to be much more commentary from me about all this, but i got sleepy when i orginally posted, and right now i got to go. In short, for now: If you're into this sort of "thing," if in fact, what was going on was what i think was going on, then this place is for you. On the other hand, if you're not into this sort of "thing," then i don't actually want to steer you away from this place because parking is so scarce in the northeast. The place only has 9 spaces, and there is a scale a few miles before which has truck parking when closed. So i guess you'll have to "play it by ear." i'm just wanting to give you a heads up. Until next time, i would probably encourage you to discuss amoungst yourselves: a) Why would someone want to "get their freak on" with a complete stranger. b) In an absolutely filthy porta potty no less.
