Both of those 2 chains pretty much stayed the same...I say give it a year or 2 and Flying J's wont be recognizeable for anything other than the name.
You hit the nail on the head. Pilot doesn't care what drivers want... they want you to get your fuel, get your sandwich and get down the road. Look what they did to the Giant travel center in NM? They ruined that place.

Look what Pilot did to all the Williams truck stops took out all the sit down places and put in fast food anything that pilot has to do with IS only about the money get in get out and dont stay.. Look at how many has laundry in them maybe 2 washers and dryers ...They dont want anyone there for more than it takes to get fuel and leave.....

Boycotts are a good idea in thoery, but not always practical in trucking. First, we company drivers fuel where we're told, and thus shower at the TS our company tells us to fuel at. Second, there's a shortage of truck parking in this country. If we were to avoid all Pilots and now Flying J's, where would we all park?

I still have not forgivin Petro for Turning off my reward card without notifying me first via email, I know I don't fuel there much but if they had notified me I would have updated my old card

Okay, I had a bad experience at a Flying J restaurant yesterday. Just outside Parvo UT. (yeah yeah I KNOW it's not Parvo but that's what I like to call it)

This particular one would be improved if turned into a denny's, subway, mcD's or even a Grandma Harry's Greasy Gizzards.
