| Re: The key to being a driver is.... I apologize for being so short. I reckon it just struck a nerve. I don't dress the way I do because of trucking. I wear 'em cuz I enjoy horses and used to have my own. I've wore boots and hats since I was a kid.

| Everytime I see a person with gloves on with the fingers cut out i wonder and want to laugh, sometimes i have to turn my head. First thing I do is look around for that nice bike he's riding, but no,never see it,then I see he's driving a regular truck like me. Even the older and younger drivers driving nice petes, and kws are never wearing them gloves, ever wonder why? maybe because they are still sweating driving, and need to keep their palms dry,? I really don't know' But then again it's not any of our business. Used to be pro drivers had a day old beard, big cigar hanging out and that big, big, belly. I'm not telling. |

Kinda reminds me of when I worked in the hospital. Nurses and lab techs would put on gloves then tear the finger off when they go to draw blood or give an IV. That negates the whole purpose for wearing them. |
