Thumbs up Open thank you to thoughtful trucker

Just about 10 days ago hubby was parked at Campabello SC, got in early AM, closed his curtains, went inside got some drinks and lunch and back to truck. He wasnt feeling good so hit the bunk, the next day at about noon while we were talking on the phone someone was knocking on his door.....just another driver checking to see if he was ok~...this driver had noticed hubby not feeling good while he was inside and that his curtains had been shut for like 22 hours, and nobody getting in/out of truck made the guy start to wonder.

I had talked to hubby several times on cell so I knew he was just sleeping it off, but nobody else did, and this other driver took the time to check things out....dont know his name or company he works for but I thank him for at least taking the time to check it out!!! He even asked if hubby needed anything from inside that he could get him....WOW, now thats looking out for eachother on the road.

Thanks for sharing that. There are many good people out there. Just seems like we don't hear stuff like that much anymore.

Re: Open thank you to thoughtful trucker

Yes, there are many good truckers out there. One day in the winter, my rig got stuck by the side of the road # a rest area and this flatbed driver offer his help and got my rig out of that hole. I even offer him some money for his time and help and he refuse the money no matter what. I mean my trailer was sliding into a dig. It was even very cold that night (like 10F or something like that) and he still help me out. I still want to thank that flatbed driver
