Was fueling in Bowman SC a couple weeks ago when I heard an awful sound. I look up to see the trailer in front of me who had pulled up to go pay for fuel rock back and forth like it was going to flip over. Swifty had demolished this truck in front of me. I am not talking about the last couple of feet hitting the tractor. About 6 feet behind swifts tractor is when the trailer made contact. He kept pulling forward until his truck would not go forward anymore; then back up and ram it again. It was almost like he was trying to drag the trailer over the top of the tractor and keep going! Maybe the other guy won't notice.

Another one of our drivers that I was running with was on the other side and could see him looking in the mirror at the truck he was destroying. I am thinking that this swift missed a couple days of training. Like the day they said swing wide you have a trailer behind you. It is events like this that make swift look so bad and everyone wants to know what is so bad about swift. Swift, screen your drivers better or keep them in training a little longer till they know when you are 6 foot away from another truck don't make a sharp turn as soon as your drives clear the hood!

Mayb he was having a bad day 6 ft behind the tractor sounds like he may of been getting even. he backed up and rammed it again lol
Hope it wasnt a kenworth he was ramming .
Its ungodly to harm such a fine piece of equipment .

That is horrible, and NOT funny.
When I was recovering from injuries I sustained at the hands of four Flying J employees in 1998, we hired a driver to "fill" the seat. He had several years verified driving and had no tickets. Three days after I hired him, he took the hood off another truck while leaving the truckstop. Before I could get him back to michigan, he tore a 10ft chain link gate at a receiver down and hit something else (which I never found out what it was). MAN, am I glad I had good insurance and that he didn't hurt anyone.

is it even possible to get your application turn down by swift? do they even say no to anyone? I was helping a swift driver get his load legal and I said jump in and slide your fifth wheel, this guy didnt speak english very and started counting wheels, and then asks which one is the 5th one? I just said to myself holy crap are you serious? but I dont blame them for not giving a crap, their own accounts treat them like s--- I was at the target in pueblo, co and they where kicking the swift drivers off the property, unbeliveable they treat these poor guys like crap everywhere they go...

I saw a Swift driver try to make a u-turn on the interstate because he missed his fuel stop. I say try because he got stuck in the middle and had to be towed out.

So I'm pulling into a truck stop, headed for the fuel bay, doing about 5 - 10 mph, and...

El Swifto pulls around me doing at least 20 and jams his rig into the bay in front of me. Slams on brakes, and comes within a hair of hitting me, taking out the pump *and* rear-ending the rig that just pulled out of the bay!

One thing says it all... swift hired my ex-brother-in-law! OMG! You see some squirelly-looking four-eyed guy driving a swifto like a maniac, it's him!

who was the one who should have been on line 4 when fueling. The trainer went in to pay and he saw his opportunity to teach him a lesson.
