Road rage alert

Truckers
OK, here's the deal I was driving west on I 80 in Elko NV today and had this dude come up behind me (KLLM #11927) and he starts to tailgate. I'm thinking how do I get this guy off my bumper? So I tapped my brakes, not slam just enough to let him know my cruse controll is off. And let me tell you this guy went nuts! He raced by then slammed his brakes staying in his lane, then came charging up next to me for the second time (and I said say cheese) and made some jestures, showed me his CB mic then passed. I thought that would be the end of it so I just let it go. But it wasn't, later he was at the Perto in Sparks NV and got in my face about brake checking him, yelling ext... Correct me if I am wrong but if I had a reason to really hit the binders or if a tread came zipping out from under my trailer then wouldn't he been the one to be at fault? And why be so short fused? even hours later?

When you met him at the truckstop you should have given him a shower coupon and a razor. Looks like he really needs to cool off.

I have had this happen many times. They will not let it go for sure. It is very hard to NOT get road rage anymore with all these governed trucks running at the same speed and NO courtesy whatsoever to counter it. Many times I have been stuck out in the left lane as another trucker stuck me out there and people behind me were raging. The driver to the right just won't back off for a second to let you around and that's where MOST road rage begins. While I try to pass ONLY when I think I am sure I can...it's not always so simple considering load weights, terrain, and the like. It's ALWAYS best to NOT look at the road rager or they will usually blow up and emotions will override them...called "emotional flooding." Sad to say, but I've found it best to eat crap and ignore them. When the Mexicans DO come over, road rage will be exacerbated to an extreme point as many truckers will lose their loads to Mexican drivers and the lack of English speaking from those Mexican truckers will make the freeways a horrible place indeed. Get ready for even more. Also, I wouldn't tap the brakes when someone is on my butt, that is a MAJOR trigger of road rage...I would make sure I have plenty of space in front of me (in case they hit me) and maybe back off the throttle, slowly, to entice the moron to pass me. That helps.

I can't really add anything to what WiseOne has said. We around here get it in our fourwheelers too. Thing's like this are why Melva waits 30 minutes or so before she leaves the high school when picking up the children from school. (About 350 STUPID TEENAGE drivers!!)

All I can really say is Roll Safe Guys.

If I were him I'b be mad a myself for the way I look. He needs to loose 75 pounds and take a 5 hour bath. He probably has scabies! People like him focus on what other people do to make them mad and not what they are doing to p**s other people of. You'll see a ton of that out here on the road and it will never change. I mean couldn't he have been at least smart enough not to ride your tail like that especially if he could easily pass you? You see? He will do as he pleases and you will not do as you please.....People like him suck and should go get a job at 7-11 so we don't have to deal with their temper tantrums and bs.

I touched up the photo for all of us to enjoy. Click on the picture so you can see the detail better. That sure looks like a middle finger to me with a fat slob hidding behind it....

I think this lovely portrait would make a fine enhancement to the KLLM website. It would make a nice header to the recruiting page. Maybe someone should email it to KLLM so that they can see this guy in action.....I bet they'd love that.
