nothing today as i was off. but i do let ltl companies jump in front of me at a samll shipper/reciever if they only have a pallet or two and ask me nicely. i figure they are more in a hurry than i am and it's no harm in doing so. i might lose 10-15 minutes but that is no big deal. maybe one day they will do something for me . if not oh well, i don't do it for personal gain.

I try to always be courteous in my car and would prefer idiots in front of me to in back of me anyway - I can follow at a safe distance and stop quickly - they can't run into me if I'm behind them!! LOL

Well lets see, I have told quite a few four wheelers and a couple of trucks, that their turning signals were on as they were driving down the highway.

I also stopped a SEMI once and told him his back door was open. He looked at me like I was from space or something...lol

Friday I stopped and let 5 vehicles into traffic that no-one else was willing to let in. It was a 2 lane road, and in this particular little town at that particular time of day, unless someone lets you in, you simply aren't GETTING in. NONE of them were trucks, either!

Well, I've found that if you alternate in those situations, traffic moves smoother because then no one really has to stop, but good luck trying to explain that to any 4-wheelers anymore with the the current " Me first, me, me, me..." mentality.

Oh, and in response to the original question, I told a few people they were number one today.

Umm, just another normal day today, but yesterday morning I let another driver know that he had a tail light out on his trailer. He was very appreciative and pulled off at the next pickle park to put in a spare that he was carrying.

Gave a truck directions, informed them were the bears and accidents were, slowed down while trucks were passing me, didn't tailgate--the same thing I do every day.
