Wrong thread for that argument Bayle....

Sorry, I will attempt to keep relevant topics in the correct threads in the future. I also want to apologize to Old School as there is no factual basis for that kind of remark. I looked through the threads he has posted on, and none support that kind of comment.

Had that been my trailer, I probably would have dragged it the rest of the way home too.

If Old School & I are thinking along the same lines, we would have done a better job than that guy did of making sure the bumper wasn't going to break/fall off along the way.

I've seen worse going down the hiway that didn't leave a trail of parts.

driving junk

I drive a turd almost every day - but they are functional and meet code.

I hate to think guys are shocked by an icc bumper hanging - yet they run a hot log like that crete driver that flubbed in florida a few years ago...

I don't know if 'flubbed' is quite the appropriate term, after all that driver did kill several people.
And even though that trailer may not have been in as bad shape as some, if some inattentive four-wheeler found their way under that trailer, the driver would have been in lots of hot water. If the joker behind the wheel still chose to drag it (or agreed to), then he should have done a much better job of securing the ICC bumper (like a strap with a come-along, or a chain, or anything better than a bungee cord).

Other than that, nice video Roadkill, good production quality, but how about some sound next time? Maybe some witty commentary courtesy of CH 19?

That video was taken in three segments (15 seconds each) using a hand-held Sony Mavica. Actually, it would have been much better quality with one of the newer cameras with "jitter" technology. I edited them together using Windows Movie Maker (Free Download)
[LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. and inserted a couple "still" shots and added text. Because of the "jittering", what you DON'T see is the ICC bumper rocking back-and-forth.
I saw the bumper rocking in my mirrors before the truck even passed me, and I missed a shot of the driver "testing" the bumper with his foot at one of the OTP Service Plazas.
I tried to add some music, but because the video was so short, I would have had to cut the music down.
