Here is a REAL Image Booster!

Here is a video I shot yesterday on the Ohio Turnpike.
The other trucks were giving this driver PLENTY of room and we kept trying to get the OSP on the CB and by phone to alert them to this "guy". But they didnt seem interested.

Good god in heaven.
I woulda put that trailer, OOS when I saw that.
Someone's gonna have to shift my load or repair that for me.
I don't need a dead person on my hands, especially if I knew I could have prevented it.

He passed by several truckstops....anyone of which could have repaired it. He DID, however stop at two service plazas on the OH TPK to check on his "bungee" repair work.

Since you called the company and that didn't work, you could try sending them video.............

I never called the company. Did I say something to make you believe I did? Only called the OSP (Ohio State Police) three times.

i myself do not understand the big deal the driver might have been doing what he was told to do by the company. roadside repair shops are a ripoff. i have brought trailers home looking a whole lot worse than this. even pulled tractor and loaded trailer from mich. to cincinnati, ohio with another tractor and chain.

What the "big deal" is???
Really, if your company told you to drive a truck that posed a safety hazard, what are YOU going to do, drive it? Do you think that if they told him to drive it anyway, that they would stick up for him if that ICC bumper fell off and killed a family of 6? NOT A CHANCE. They will leave him flapping in the breeze.
Something like that isn't worth MY freedom, not worth MY job and definitely not worth endangering one single life for.

And I'll almost bet that Old School is one that argues that Mexican truckers drive unsafe equipment, and is one reason why they shouldn't be allowed to haul here.
