Indoor Plumbing

question: how many drivers out ther are unaware that indoor plumbing has been around for a century or four?

ill grant you im guilty of using the tree behind the bush once in a blue moon but im seeing more and more urine bottles, watered down trailer tires, and have heard of a driver who 'whiped it out' on the fuel island as he was fueling and went right there.

so im just wanting to make sure that everyone is aware that there is in fact indoor plumbing. and this kind of behavior is unnessacary anymore. with rest stops and truck stops every couple miles i fail to see the reason you cant take 2 minutes out of a busy day to take a quick leak

Once I had a steering wheel holder (I refuse to call this sort of behavior a "driver") pull into the fuel islands. Hit his brakes grab the wide top with no top whiz jug and proceed to dump it RIGHT beside the pump. He puts the jug back in his truck and walks inside.

I almost got ill right on the spot.

I have seen many of them (steering wheel holders), get up, water the tires, and then go inside for coffee and whatever.

I'm beginning to find out. Welcome to the dark side.

I guess there are many things to be seen when you're going that many places. I just can't imagine stooping to that.

Hmmmm, I can't help wonder, what do the ladies do? They can't all be holding it in.

I guess I'll find out when I get out there.

Sometimes a remote tree is far more sanitary than some of the ladies restrooms I have been in.
However, who can condone the horrific behaviour described earlier in this thread? Puke!

I'm guilty of the bottle. I used to keep alot of empty 1 liter water bottles in the sleeper. If I was running tight and in a hurry and had to go.. I would hit a wide off ramp and do my business back there in the sleeper and go. It sure beats pulling into a truck stop thats so busy there is a 15 minute wait just to get into the lot. If I was layed over at a reciever that was no where near a rest area or TS I used them there too. I've never thrown any out on the side of the road or dumped them. Always goes into a trash back and thrown in a dumpster. I drink more than enough water to have a steady flow of bottles. Say whatever you want about me but that was my system and I didn't expose anyone else to what I did. Never once had a spill in the sleeper either.

I don't think any things wrong with using a bottle. It seems sensible. As long as its not disposed of in a nasty fashion.

Being in the military years ago, I can tell you ladies can be pretty nasty too. And some of those ladies rooms, yuck. Its embarrassing, I definately wouldn't call it a ladies room.
