amazes me of the amount of inconsiderate drivers out there. why can't everybody just go back to the way it was and look out for your fellow trucker. we're out there for the same reason.

kinda reminds me of the WERNER who nosed into the corner hole at the Flying J in Dallas on the upper lot. we found him in the restaurant eating and he started professing how could it make a difference whether he backed in or pulled in being that the truck's length was still the same. i started laughing at this guy's stupidity when we had to explain that the back of the trailer is over the grass when his trailer tires are touching the curb! he was blocking two of us with his "professional parking"

Being blocked stinks.

I remember not being able to wake someone blocking me at Pilot in Milford, CT. I had to loosen mirrors or loose them on blocker's trailer. Get out and look a few dozen times, back and forth, back and forth, loosen mirrors, and chew up time. It's a lousy way to start the day.

If you can't find a space, but need to get off the road, DON'T block others......

Major Pet Peeve with me!

I just cant stand drivers who are so self-focused and rude as to do this kinda crap! I go way out of my way NOT to block drivers in---including having left a truck stop/rest area and parked on a ramp once or twice, if needed to! I purposely leave early (0300-0330) and get off early (1600-1700) so as to get a 'good parking spot, as well as have a life that evening! But sure enuf, go to sleep about 2100 and wakeup to #####****s blocking me in---they came in late due to poor planning and parked wherever. Then you pound on their door to have them move---some wont answer---bad move on their part cause I can rap pretty hard with my gloves on, to the point of denting the door!! Then there are the ones who wakeup and give me a dirty look like I'm the problem---and then move!! Doesnt intimidate me---I'll glare right back at him, and give him my 'u dumb s***' look....ha ha!

I have come in late and asked a driver (if awake) when he was leaving, and would he mind if I parked in his way---just wake me up when you leave and I'll take your spot! No problem...works fine!

WARNING: Besides watching out for that Maverick truck, better watch out for a red Knight, too!

that must have sucked. i might have started blowing my horn or something like that. definitly would not have a problem with banging on the door and waking them up telling them to move.

I was at Shamrock Foods in Commerce City, CO one day, making a delivery. Just as I started to pull out of my spot... mind you, my truck was MOVING FORWARD OUT OF THE SPOT... one of the Shamrock local delivery guys pulled straight across in front of me and stopped. I patiently waited until I realized he was DROPPING THE ########## TRAILER right in front of me. I jumped out of the truck and proceeded to explain in the kindest words possible that he was the most inconsiderate MF I'd ever seen and he better get out of my way because I needed to get going. Shamrock had already made me late for my next drop.
He refused to move, saying it would only be there for about ten minutes, so I got back on my radio to the receiving department and told them if they didn't get this trailer moved I would be calling the police for refusing to let me leave the property, lol, and sure enough, someone came running out of the building to tell the guy to get that trailer out of there.
