I patiently waited until I realized he was DROPPING THE ########## TRAILER right in front of me. I jumped out of the truck and proceeded to explain in the kindest words possible that he was the most inconsiderate MF I'd ever seen and he better get out of my way because I needed to get going. Shamrock had already made me late for my next drop.
He refused to move, saying it would only be there for about ten minutes, so I got back on my radio to the receiving department and told them if they didn't get this trailer moved I would be calling the police for refusing to let me leave the property, lol, and sure enough, someone came running out of the building to tell the guy to get that trailer out of there.

I would of unhooked from my trl and hooked to his... Then I would of pulled it to the fuel Island and dropped it off there and let them deal with this Idiot.... Or pulled into the section where the cars are where they could not turn around and left it there.....

Good idea, but he probably couldn't have gotten out to do that if he wanted to.

another rude driver

I was backing in a spot last night and the truck beside me had his lights on and his road lamps. I asked him on the radio, can you kill the lights I am trying to back in beside you? No answer. I dropped it in the hole and went I got out of my truck I saw his curtain was closed. Truck idling and all the lights on. What an idiot. I thought about turning all of his lights off one at a time from outside the truck.

if you give it some thought you can find a spot in a full truck stop without blocking anyone in.
i was backing in at a crowded pilot the other week, i had a crete on my sight side sitting in his truck. anyway it was tight (as most pilots are) across the isle, so my tractor was real close to the trucks in the isle across from me. when i cut it in i was REALL close to the front corner of crete, so i GOAL'd. the whole time this old man's sitting there watching me struggle to get in. i finally got in and walked to the back to see if i could get any further back. turns out the A hole was at least 10 FEET from the truck behind him
his trailer was on the line about.

on the other side of the coin i pulled into a loves on I-35 , it was set up so you had to blindside if you couldn't turn around at the end of fuel island. i had barely set up to make the attempt when a driver walked up to my right window to help. luckily the slots there were about 5 ft wider than normal.

That's when you need the Acme headlight-adjusting hammer.

VERY likely. They pull into the auctions on a bus. Whether its Grey Hound or charter I don't know. I doubt its a charter bus. They will not spend that kind of coin.

They buy all their junk cars with a 4 or 5 inch high stack of green and then take another 2 to 3 days getting them all on the tow bar. On the way headed south you'll see plenty of them broke down, or even abandoned. They remove the tow bar and take it with them and leave the cars at the side of the road for the state to deal with.

Flatbedders have "scum bag be good" bars. So do car haulers.
