Unless you're a hemmorhoid get off my ###

MY COMPANY IS CHANGING OUT OUR OLD FREIGHTLINERS N KENWORTHT-660'S IN FAVOR OF BETTER FUEL ECONOMY N LOWER MAINTAINENCE COSTS THE OWNER RECENTELY BOUGHT TEN LATE MODEL 06 FREIGHTLINER COLUMBIA'S AT A CUT RATE FROM A FAILED SMALL FLEET BANK REPO

THE THING OF IT IS THESE TRUCKS ARE ONLY 10 SPEEDS AND THEY ARE GOVERNED TO TOP OUT AT ABOUT 68 MPH BUT MORE LIKE 63 OR 64 WHEN I AM GROSSED OUT WITH A REEFER

MY PROBLEM IS WHEN OTHER TRUCKS GET RIGHT ON MY BACKDOOR N UP MY REAR END PRACTICALLY UNTIL THEY CAN MOVE LEFT N PASS THEN JUST WHEN THEY ARE A FEW FEET OF CLEARING ME JUST MOVE RIGHT BACK IN BEFORE I CAN EVEN FLASH EM WHEN ITS SAFE THEN CURSE N SWEAR N TALK CRAP ON THE CB ABOUT ME ITS EVEN WORSE UP A GRADE

NOW I WOULD EXPECT THIS KIND OF IMPATIENCE AND IGNORANCE FROM 4-WHEELERS BUT I DO NOT EXPECT THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM MY FELLOW PROFFESIONAL DRIVERS OUT THERE WHO SHOULD ALREADY KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO BE IN A TRUCK WHAT IS HAPPENING THESE DAYS WE ARE ALL OUT THERE JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING WAS IT REALLY THAT IMPORTANT TO YA TO SAVE A WHOLE 15 SECONDS

"My current speed has nothing to do with how fast I would LIKE to drive. Trust me, I'd cram this Freightliner right up your whiny ##### right now if I could... but I can't go fast enough because of the governor on the truck." Maybe that'd shut them up. LOL

Idiots driving like that shouldn't be behind the wheel . When they pass get their DOT number and unit number then go to safestat to get their company info and report them . I'm tired of dealing with those morons .

Report someone who passes someone else who is traveling below the posted speed limit? Sure like to see you win that one in court....I agree it's a problem but it's not illegal to pass someone. Just because you don't do it the way you were taught in driving school doesn't mean they are gonna get ticketed for it. Signal, Look, Look, Move Over, Look, Signal Off.

I go slow sometimes to, especially climbing grades loaded, but I also have been empty, came up on a truck and didn't have time to make sure he saw me before I passed him up to the high standards of this driver....either because other trucks were on my left or 4wheelers wouldn't let me over. I can tell you, before I jam my brakes on, I am gonna pass you.

i feel ya dog. i am not governed, but if i am heavy, and ya have to pass, then get the hell on up the road and don't camp on my front bumper. i hate to brake down the other side of the hill.

must be cool under that bumper in the shade, 4 wheelers want to stay there all the time.

The passing isn't the problem . It's the running right up on your bumper that's the problem and following too closely IS a critical violation that if repeated or combined with other critical violations will get your CDL suspended .

I live near US 24, and have to turn off onto county roads in my car. Most of the drivers around here like to climb right on up my tailpipe. I mean If they're going to be up my backdoor like they could atleast give a little reach around, right? But anyhow, it's not like they don't have another lane to hop into to pass me. I know slowing down and speeding up uses time and fuel but, you know... when I get my CDL I'll waste those 2 or 3 minutes and few drops of diesel, to be safe.

Alot of the bad ones that do that seem to be from Swift.... >.>

Bad enough of them to do it to another trucker but every time I see one of these "super truckers" about 5 feet off the rear bumper of a 4 wheeler I cringe. Heck if they are on me and I have to slam on the breaks they will do little damage to me physically. We all know how it would end up with a 4 wheeler. We have a good bit of retards out there that do not deserve to hold any lisc let alone a Class A.

Oh yeah, man. There's at least 1 accident like this per month in the 10-20 mile stretch of 24 near where I live.
