DipStick Fed Ex Driver

Today i was on I 84 going east bound up ladd canyon grade east of La Grande Oregon, i was in the fast lane passing trucks going slow up the grade, as i get to the rear of a set of doubles, a fed ex truck, this dipstick driver turns on the signal and pulls right over with in a fraction of hitting me in the right front corner, had i not hit the brakes he would have hit me, i was almost rear ended by the vehicle behind me due to this, what a moron that couldnt wait a few seconds to pass the truck ahead of him, instead he decides to try to cause an accident on a uphill grade,, fed ex must hire reject not so swift drivers,, as you pass thru rock springs wyoming look to the left at exit 304 on I 80 and you will see a dozen smashed up fed ex trailers and trucks, i mean seriously where do they find these drivers???

I'm thinking they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for drivers now.

I've seen some really stupid things coming from them lately. And they don't have a safety department as far as I can tell. I tried calling. Yet they keep winning those ATA awards.

This same thing happened to me last week coming up Parley's. A Central truck pulled right in front of me doing 10 mph. I was going 65-70 with cars stacked on the left and on my bumper. I really thought I was toast. She would not even look at me when I did go by.

My wife was waiting for a fedex driver to drop off the campany's payroll, well the driver couldn't find the place so decided to just toss it over a fence and drove off. Hour after the reg time she normally get it - she called in asked where her package was, they told her is was delivered. 20 mins later the driver called and said he tossed it over a fence. Needless to say she don't use them anymore after cancelling 140 payroll checks and was stuck printing out manual ones that was a long nite.

I had a similar experience with them. I ordered a factory am/fm radio to go in my 74 Monaco and paid a good amount of money for it. Fed-ex stops across the street from the end of my driveway, walks not quite to the yellow line, and throws it at my mailbox! I called their terminal and let the poor girl on the phone have it. Her response was something to the tune of "our drivers would never do that". I will never use their services again!
For even more fun on this subject, go to youtube and punch in "fed ex and see what pops up.

Had similar problems with UPS.

Ordered tax software. It was delivered to the house. Snowed that day. Backed into the driveway and parked the car. Found the software under the tire marks for the back in.

Called UPS. They said it was for ground delivery, not porch. It was a 140 foot walk to the porch gate.

Oh, yeah. UPS is no different. I have never had them screw up a delivery to me, but I've shipped things that have arrived at their destination almost unrecognizable.

Isn't it amazing how we pay a lot of money to these companies for special service, and they don't care about the people who are the reason for their paycheck. I never have understood how people don't get that every job really is about customer service.
