Great Wide Driver
Lets see... personal spot at fuel island to wash his windows,, with his own squeegie.... then pull up and open hood with eng running... goes inside.... ah... to buy oil, or some other item to put in his engine...nope... need to go to mens room and get the shaving cream out... time to shave our head... ... wonder how he looked after the manager came looking for him after a call out of the blue to the truckstop... guess he needed to look his best for the scale house down the road..

There is no excuse for the Greatwide driver. Is that the company that filed for bankruptcy on October 21? According to Transport Topics 10/27/98 Greatwide is the fourth major fleet to file bankruptcy this year. The article written by Rip Watson ranks Greatwide 23rd on the list of top 100 for-hire carriers. They will continue operating, and are well positioned by hauling groceries and consumer products that are recession proof compared to housing and automotive.

The bankruptcy was reported in other news releases as well.

You cant say its just Great Wide drivers that do that. I bet every company has drivers like that. I've never done it but considered it a time or too.
