Image (great idea)

Start with taking a shower more then twice a month.............

Stop tailgating...........

Stop speeding in Construction zones......guilty of this one myself.

When you are interviewed on TV because you saw the accident (or the UFO) try not to look and sound like a retard...........It's you 15 minutes of fame, make the most of it...........

Piss jugs go in the trash driver...........

Stop assuming all 4 wheelers are stupid and driving agressivly around them..........

When speaking on the radio about the stupid 4 wheelers be nice......The general public is listening...........

A big one with me:

You're in the truckstop and you hear a 9 year old boy on the CB and imediatly think it is a woman, one that wants to meet you, no less. Really driver, do really think either one really wants to see the inside of your truck?

Kids on the radio have a right to be there. Channel 19 IS NOT the truckers channel. Clean your filthy mouth up when children are present and it would not hurt our image any if you cleaned your trash talking mouth up on and off the radio......nobody cares how many times you can use the "F" word in 1 sentence. You are only showing us how ignorrant you truly are.

Stop telling people to turn their radio off if they don't like the conversation. It is Citizens Band radio and ALL citizens have a right to use it. It is not your right to restrict anothers rights because you are unable to have an intellegent conversation............

Fewer and fewer people are listening but people are listening.

Just because you were foolish and bought that big, high dollar radio does not mean you control the airwaves. My $2 wire cutters can take you off the air in an instant and they have before and will again.
CB is not anonymous......I can find you in a matter of minutes. Al you have to do is transmit.

You are dealing with the public, clean your act up.

There might be a few construction zones out there that are not monitored by some sort of device, but for the most part, they are watched closely by cameras, cops, and even the construction workers have been known to call in a compaint on speeders.

GOOD POST KC!!

Or any woman for that matter, not just a child. I have lost track in how many times a woman would key up and not even say anything to the effect of sexual and be propositioned...

I would like to add to the list if I may, PLEASE keep the inside of your truck cleaned up...it looks awful when you open the door and the fast food bags and cups hit the groud before you do. The dash is NOT an office, put paperwork some place else and try to clean your windows once in awhile.

I have seen many a cab that made me wonder what the driver does at home because they sure don't know where the trash can is at a truck stop.
I know the days are long and the road can be a pain at times but IF the inside of your truck is kept picked up, you WILL feel better and sleep better.

A note on this, I have seen more trucks pulled in for a DOT inspection with enough crap on the dash that it amases me that anybody can see the road from the drivers seat.

Not only do the inspectors target certain carrirs but the appearence of the truck can make a diferece. It it looks like the rig has never seen a wash rack verses a clean truck the dirty truck is more then likely to be pulled in, granted this time of year it is impossible to keep the truck spotless.

Personaly I tend to be the Oscar Maddison type and let it go for an extended periods but one thing I don't like is a bunch of junk pilled up on my dash and refuge loose in the cab...

When I pulled food grade tanker and went to California that was the first thing we did before entering into CA. was hit the truck wash.
I agree I hate thing's in my dash also, and especially rolling around on the floor. Not oly looks bad but it is dangerous also.
The filthy talk in general on the CB would be nice if it was cleaned up.

Totally agree! But, I think this feat would be absolutely impossible.

Corey, you hit the jackpot. All those things you talked about are true to the point. I speed thru construction zones , whatever the traffic is doing I do the same. If I see workers,I never speed, drive thru at a speed I feel is safe but not over the limit posted. We all drive 4 wheelers. my father used to say when your off duty let the working man go ahead,he's just trying to do his job. I have lived by that' some things you never forget.
