I see so many drivers using cell phones and not watching the road.

Bad accident! Reminds me of an incident about 2yrs back on I-495 - it's known as the Speedway - out of DC heading towards I-95 Sth - a Semi garbage truck heading South, damp road, doing some crazy speed - everyone screaming at him to slow down, a few miles after he passed me, there he was on his side and had taken out another truck in the process. I was one of the first the cops stopped heading thru - diesel running across the road so potential for fire and I'm sitting in it. Cop walks past me and then spots the Hazmat signs on the trailer - opened that road up quick smart to get me thru - I don't think the driver survived.

Re: Keep your eyes on the road!

That was very disturbing video, it reminds me of an almost accident I had (thank you black ice), I had mightmares about it for a week, kept waking up in the middle of night in the sleeper thinking the truck was still moving.

Re: Keep your eyes on the road!

If you take a good look at the video it appers that the truck is left of center before the ever gets to the crash sight. I guess that cell phone call or cigeret that he droped or whatever. Was worth more than the lives of the people that he killed. It makes you think !

Re: Keep your eyes on the road!

Wow..that is really sad. It remind me of an accident that happened on I-70 in Missouri ealier this year. Traffic was stopped for construction and the truck driver never slowed down at all. He hit a car, caused a big explosion and killed four women. He is now going to court on four charges of involuntary manslaughter. I'm sure the rest of his life will move by much slower than his driving on that day. Sure glad Im not in his shoes.
