After reading the site for a while, I've decided to join. I hire carriers to move freight all over the place, and I know how my end works. I figured I'd join and learn about how the driver's end works, and maybe try to explain some of the crazy things shippers may do.

Hi Les, there's always someone to blame! Unfortunately there are so many people involved in some freight moves... there's bound to be some miscommunication involved. I think sometimes it's an honest mistake... but certainly other times it's on purpose. And that's where the brokers come in!

I am still blaming the broker
Yesterday I've booked a load for one of my drivers and on the RC I have delivery time between 8 am and 11:30 am .
He got loaded last night and today I've called the broker to let him know he is loaded and tell him to change the phone from the RC for the receiver because is wrong.
Gave him the eta from my driver and he tells me that I have an appointment for 10 am . He would've called me today and let me know. My driver will be there at 10:30 .
