Newbie looking to get in the trucking life (vet)

    Whats up everyone, im 9 months out before i finish my enlistment with the Us Army, really hope i could find a trucking job that would allow me to spend some time with my family (reason of why leaving the army) i am a diesel mechanic in the army (stryker maintainer) 23 years of age.

    Another good one is Leavitt's Freight Service. Personally, I prefer the tankers.

    Welcome my comrade in arms. I'm on the east coast so I'm not up on jobs in your area. We army vets do tend to have job security. I went in to be a driver in 1989 & I'm still driving 5million + miles later. Had to get roadside in Miami last week, same story the mechanic went in to be & still a diesel mechanic.
