Hello my name is John, I have Ben driving for round about six years now.One of those six I drove regional, the other five I have Ben running California to Ga or Fl every week.I got into trucking bc I was born in it.I learned how to wash wheels on my dad's liberty edition kW before I learned how to ride a bike, lol.I'm only twenty eight but I know nothing but the old school way of trucking.its what I was raised in ,and taught by my father.I think he has around 44 years in it now.anyways that's a little bit about who I am.For the reason I joined is I find this forum very informational on companies out there today. And that is why I was wondering if any one knew anything about a Hall worldwide transportation out of Mo.I have Ben running for a small family owned fleet for a few years but he has decided to call it quits. And looking for a decent west coast run in a decent ride is just about non existing anymore by the looks of it.Some one had just mentioned hall.If anyone could tell me anything bout them I would really appreciate it.

South East Carriers out of Lawrenceburg, TN does lots of West Coast and no Northeast. Trucks have Tripac APU's.

You're right, it's harder and harder these days to find those old outlaw outfits anymore.

You will probably get more responses on the "Experienced Drivers Advice" thread. Also, check the "Trucking Jobs" thread. Sometimes there's some real small mom & pop companies on that thread looking for drivers.

Yeah, with the CSA scores, and just about everyone going to E-logs, Running outlaw is vastly becoming a thing of the past, But must be honest, I don't want to run that way anymore, I used to run as many as about 900-1000 a day, not every day, but many days in a week, just not willing to do that any more, these days I like my down time, H E double hockey sticks! now a days, if i can run 350 a day, I'd sit the rest, that would be fine with me, That would net me just about a $1000. for the week, I see many decals on the back of trailers saying "how many miles you going? what to go further?" My answer would be NO!, you want me to drive for you? offer me a better pay package, I've even talked with drivers that say, they'd rather be driving every second they can, well that's fine for them, but maybe it's my age, but I just not going to spend the rest of my life sitting behind the wheel of a truck, there is lots more to life than that
