So far I've spent 16 hours on a train about 8 doing all the touristy stuff around Chicago and now I'm on the last leg of the trip, the final train ride from Chicago to st Louis I am really hoping this one doesn't get delayed so maybe I can get a little sleep before orientation starts bright and early. If anyone has any last minute advice for a newbie it is appreciated.

Be patient & Don't get stressed out when you knock over few orange cones.
Avoid the "know it all's" .........oh yeah, there will be some students who think they know more than the instructors.
Hang out with the mature/serious students.
Best of luck!mje, wcherron, kiwi23 and 1 other person Thank this. -

The company gives us little card's to golden corral and to chevys which is a mexican restaurant beside the hotel i honestly don't know if they have any non meat options. Once a week the people at the hotel will take you to walmart if you didn't bring your own vehicle.
Ga Dawg141 and mje Thank this. -

So far I'm honestly loving it the instructors are excellent and more than willing to help and they don't have that " I'm better than you attitude" everyone is very down to earth. They will push you to succeed but in my opinion that's a good thing because they actually want you to get your cdl and have the ability to be safe and make money all and all I'm very impressed with the entire program.
