Hey y’all from Savannah!

Hey y’all from Savannah, Georgia! So thankful, fascinated and slightly overwhelmed at all the great info that is on here!! I have been researching (aka trolling, lurking) for about a week now. Hubby recently came home from work and said he’s going into Hot Shot trucking….I had never heard of it. He has talked about getting back into trucking often over the years. Sounds like he loved it and has many stories from driving in Korea back in the day with the U.S. Army (he’s retired). We have been happily married for 25 years and the kids are grown and gone (well, one snuck back in) so I’m planning to get my CDL and go with him. There is a huge port here and I hope we can eventually tap directly into the break bulk cargo. Any advice or words of wisdom for us?
