Warm & happy A bird decided that it was getting cold enough to fly south for the winter. He sets off but while flying over some mountians runs into a bad storm, including some freezing rain. The ice begins to accumulate on his wings and he loses altitude and crashes into a field full of grass and cows. As it turns out he lands smack dab into a pile of fresh cow dung, still warm and stinky. After a few minutes the ice all melts off his wings and he gets warm, he is kind of glad to be warm again so he starts to sing a little bit. A local cat hears the bird singing and creeps up on him and drags him from the manure and eats him. The moral to the story is, If you are safe and warm in a pile of crap, keep your mouth shut.
