Old commercials... what were they thinking?

So I'm sitting in truck stop prison right now watching old commercials from the 70's... this one takes the cake.

And hey kids... remember Super Elastic Bubble Plastic? Hell yeah! We invented huffing before huffing was cool. Just watching the commercial triggered memories of the smell of that stuff.

Imagine the lawsuits that would be generated if this product were still on the market today. I wonder how many of those kids busted their head open while that commercial was being filmed, lol.

I wish we could go back to the sixties and seventies... when kids were still allowed to be kids.

WHAM-O in its current incarnation is owned by The Aguilar Group, an investment firm, according to the wiki... which in turn, is probably owned by the Chinese. You can't buy a toy that isn't made in China anymore.

I remember all of those except the "Ball Buster" game...maybe I have erased that one from my memory.

Nope...I can still remember my ex-wife....
