I land in Springfield 9 am this Sunday. I didn't want to hijack Robd1178's thread, so I decided to throw this post(log?)together, hoping my upcoming experience with training might help someone looking for info on Prime in the future?
I am coming to Prime having done Class B for 3 years. I started driving 55 passenger motorcoaches with a company that runs for Walt Disney, ended up doing straight trucks hauling new Arcade games/installing them.
Got sick of driving equipment that really anyone could drive with a couple hours of instruction, and wanted to work towards something better. Pay for Class B has a VERY low ceiling as well.
I requested flatbed. I know training will more than likely be with a reefer trainer, which is fine, i'll work with what I am given. I have spoken to a couple of you already via pm, you have been invaluable. So thank you again. I am also coming with my Permit already done. Went ahead and knocked out the remaining endorsements, waiting on haz until I move my CDL back. I even have my school bus endorsement Contain your excitement.
Thanks for reading, looking forward to starting that first week. Just finishing up packing and trying to minimalize small bag and backpack.

As always....best to you. You'll be done & through it before you know it.

Thanks FMJ. All packed for my 6 am flight. My nerves are through the roof but I am very excited at bettering my skill set and removing the B, an adding A to my license.

Campus inn room is nice, roommate already here just haven't met him yet. Staff have been super friendly as well. Walked through the sim room, definitely a cool setup

Thanks Brehon, I got to campus super early so I am anxious to start classes. Got my permit already so I'm good there. Im eyeing this pre trip truck to kill some time once I get the manual on how prime does their pre trip.
FullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
That's a great attitude right out the gate.
Might be able to get a copy of that pretrip from someone in sim lab.
Know they had a copy or two stashed in the corner, before.
TooSlow4Words and 2500HDRob Thank this.
