A 16 hour work day wtf? I'm not Chinese why the hell would I work for a company that has me work 16 hours a day ? and if I work for myself I would do some serious math and see what I make an hour you might be better off at Mcdonalds. It's unreal to me this 14-16 hours a day talk not on your life I want to work an solid 10-12 hours and I want paid for it so I don't need to think about what if I could work more hours.

I bet you don't I bet you make a decent living just like guys that work 40 hours a week only you work 80 plus. Im at the the top of the industry in pay as far as company drivers and I am ruthless about being paid for my time and I'm not working 16 hours a day. FYI there are no lazy people doing flatbed heavy haul I'm not lazy I'm just not a stupid ### robot who works for free And as of now I'm on track to retire at 55 so I must be doing some thing righ Namely if I'm working someone is paying.

I never said I work 16 hours for free.. Hell my longest shift was 34 hours and that was all hourly and overtime. When I do a 16 hour shift I get paid for everything I do but if I can make more why not and work more hours why not.

I should really read more carefully . My friend if your getting paid for your time then God speed rest when your at home or dead. You are a rarity though most these drivers working those hours are not getting paid.

And I fully agree with that. Most log 70, work 80 and get paid for maybe 60. Sad fact of the industry. My time means money like you. Hope you have a good long weekend!
