I've pulled cam sensor and cleaned it , tach sensor also. Have not removed and cleaned crank sensor as of yet. These are accessed from outside the valve cover.

-
usually missfires
how long time truck was siting for?
What happened with its stock ECM? -
Just Under 2 years
Volvo stated ecm was bad, sent it off and was told the board was bad and could not be repaired. All mentioned previously.
I appreciate your assistance, just very frustrated with it. I don't have the proper test tools either. I have no way if testing 90v -
LED with 10Kohm resistor is the best tool to check injector actuation.
OK, do u have your bad ECM home? It is possible to pull out memory chips, read and program other ECM.
I have all tools to check your ECM too. If boards are bad I can use software from it!
what kind of ECM damage? Overpresurised ore overvoltage? -
The old ecm went to volvo for a $1600 core on my new one.
I wasn't told , only the board was bad . -
bad news, I can read ECM data to know what type of injectors is used.
ok, remove valve cover, check injector type and check pulses -
