hey everyone I'm trying to figure out where this oil leak is coming from. I pressure washed under the hood and found the oil to be coming from the drivers side mid-top front right by the front part of the intake manifold. There is a line going from the air compressor to the block and it looks to be right above there. Any thoughts?

I just want to congratulate you on being able to take such good pictures. What kind of phone is that?
Might be the front cover where the timing gears are.
Stuff some rags in there like a tampon and let it soak up and not make a mess.Airman89 Thanks this. -
Its been a while since I had one of those apart but it looks like it might be leaking out between the block and the timing cover.

That round machined area just above the leak has a seal for the camshaft where it meets the head. If you can shine a light in the spacing between head and front cover and see if it is seaping down from that. It's been a long time since I had to tear a Detroit apart. You said it's leaking on both sides so I would almost bet that cam seal is seaping and running down the front cover to the flat part of the block and running down both sides. I believe Detroit refers to it as a diamond seal.
