2007 cummins isx cruise control

    This problem started early this week.. I've had this truck for 10k miles now.. I'm not very knowledgeable about repairing diesels.. but I wanna learn.. my engine brake works but cruise control works when it wants. It seems to stop working if I press the brake @ all n comes back on later..

    Ok, so you are saying after you are done braking and you want to resume it doesn't? I have noticed some Prostars need the resume button hit twice to reengage the cruise, try this. Other than that I would say either the brake switch is stuck, or steering wheel buttons are worn.

    Tryed that doesn't work my button is on dash it's a 9400i. Is a brake switch easy to do?

    Make sure your brake pedal is slightly sticking. Yes, brake switches are easy, they are just in quick connect fittings. I think it is located behind the dash.
