I have a 2012 with an Eaton 10 speed. It the paccar engine,
I average about 6.5 mpg on our old 48 foot reefer trailers 35-40k loads usually
I average about 7.2 mpg on our new 53 foot areo trailers, usually 40-42k loads.
Over the past 60k miles I have 7.8 mpg average (I pull empty about 40% of the time). I am on the east coast and operate mainly in North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. -
what kind of trailer you are pulling, where are you pulling the trailer, and is there a lot of city driving. and you did not mention your rear end ratio, and your speed. those are the big guns in mpg. and a lot of truckers talk about there fuel mileage like one part of there body they say its bigger than it really is. lots of luck
