2012 Volvo D13 HID Headlight Kit ? - - - Wherre Can I get one ?

I know one that is 2015 and LCM needed fix
Propely adjusted headlights with reflectors and or projectors with work just fine with HID kit. Problem is in the other people who dont have them

 

i checked with the volvo dealer in Evensville, IN.
they have the upgrade led headlights for $675 each and was told that the new led assembly have resisters built in so the lcm sees the right voltage and doesn't need reprogramming...

 

I have ran the deepspacelighting.com bixenon conversion for 2 years now with no issue on my one truck.

I have tried 3 different led bulb types including piaa and they are all trash.

in my 2006 volvo I have a 35w 4300k morimoto h11 and 9005 kit and a splitter harness from theretrofitsource.com that makes it so the low beam stays on when the high beam is on, I work with 5 guys with new volvos and the truck lites and I blow them away when it comes to usable light on the road.

Led are Bright but they do not go far down the road which is their downfall, also in snow areas they suck as they do not heat up.

 

Dustin, if possible, could you provide a link to the splitter harness you used?

This is a Morimoto authorized distributor in Canada.

The retrofit source owns Morimoto but I am having trouble finding this harness on TRS' website right now so you may want to contact them and ask about it.

It is a correctional splitter harness with a 1 way diode built into it.

 

If ordering a h11 there are 2 kits the h11A and h11B. one is for if your projector shield is blocking the bottom half of your headlights projector and the other if if it's blocking the top half, You can ask them which is for you as I can't remember off the top of my head.

I have one in my truck right now so you can see (assuming my upload works)

 

If you are curious how to tell a quality bulb from the garbage ones, here is one thing to check for. note that the capsule atually curves out a rouble the Centre, this is a dead giveaway of quality xenon bulbs.
