Just got this truck new last week and was impressed how quiet it was for a shaker. 7000 miles on it and the passenger side bunk shelf unit has started to rattle like two skeletons screwing on a tin roof. The whole unit moves forward and back a good two inches while driving. When I'm parked I can put full weight on the unit and it won't budge an inch. Anyone else have this problem and able to solve it? My wife will be driving team with me soon and I know there is no hope to sleep with that racket going on.

Pull the top panel off and tighten the bolts.
Had a 2011 same problem opposite side, bolts would never stay tight.

Does your wife know how to sleep while standing up? Just have her hold it in place, keep driving. Lmao

If you can't move it by hand are loose bolts the issue?.

I am thinking its more to do with harmonics as mine will shake only at certain speeds. I attached a couple cinch straps from the cabinet to the upper bunk to act as a sort of dampener.

Will report back if that does the trick.

The driver's side cabinet is now silent. That one used to buzz when idling and rattle when driving. Passenger side is quieter now but still likes to shimmy occasionally. I added a second strap to that one so will see how that goes.

My sleeper is starting to look like that 50 shades of grey bondage room...but without the young hottie tied up in it.
