    I doubt the outcome would have been any different if the 4 wheeler had hit a brick wall, tree or the back of a semi.

    How ever,.. on a more positive side,.. thankfully it was a semi and not a family mini van or group of motor cyclists that the 4 wheeler hit.

    Now for a rant,.. had the vehicles traded places and the semi hit the 4 wheeler,.. we'd have a different discussion and looking for felony murder charges instead of looking at it as just an accident. The finger pointers , judgment and entitlement police would have a field day.

    Sad story either way. RIP.

    This is why many car makers are now offering an optional version of an OnGuard-like system that actually stops the car completely (unlike OnGuard in trucks that only begins the full braking, but doesn't completely stop the vehicle)

    I ran a carfax. Looks like there was a recall issued in 2010 and some other wrecks and failed inspections reported over the years.

    That and I don't see any skid marks from hard braking.
