Wow. You could have bought everything you'd need to build that yourself, and then built it yourself. Would have cost you the same in time & money, but you'd still have the welder & other supplies in your shop for the next project.
Bar stock, flat steel, a welder, and a drill....1/2 a day to put it together.
Sometimes I think I'm in the wrong business.....SHC Thanks this. -

Also, with the trailer tiled just a bit more to the rear, I get less surge. -
Do you have an air gauge on the rear bags? If so, what was the PSI difference before the risers and after? Loaded I mean...

Kansas Thanks this.

1230~1250mm(48.5~49.25 inches) is the recomended fifth wheel ride height in Western Europe. Like you SHC,I too over the years, have had to alter the ride height of various tractors to suit trailers,to make them compatible. One thing I did find was, once you got the balance right between the tactor and trailer, tire wear, handling, load distribution tolerances and driver satisfaction all improved dramatically, and you had a nicer running rig

Yea, not too tough to build, about 200$ worth of steel, get out the miller and a grinder, 4 1/2 hrs later, I have a set of 5" riser.

Pedestals are the pieces that the fifth wheel plate attaches to and pivots on.
