Run away!!!! I don't care if they offer you a full engine warranty, run away. The reason people don't share the good is because there isn't much to share. The print out is not going to reflect the real fuel economy, mine is off up to 1.5mpg at times. PTT software allows for +/- 10% fuel usage, but I'm telling you it's more. Now the turbos, ask the dealer how much, last time I checked it was around $5k for just the part. A injector will run $1200-$1400 part only, that's for 1. The best part about all of the expensive parts is it has to be done at Volvo or a dealership with PTT access and it takes for ever to get the thing fixed. All the stuff that has been replaced will be replaced again at your expense, even those great st/st cups. Get one with a Cummins. Even if you have to spend another $5k, you will be better off. The cummins will get you better economy & it's cheaper to fix, so after a year or so it's a wash.

They are all problems from 2007 and 2008.
A little out off date maybe?

The truck I was happy with but the engine was questionable. Hence my asking for opinions from people with real world experience. So thanks for the input and I will follow your advice.

Actually we do have egr, I had it on a 2008 r480.

I'm with you on the d12's and d13's, much better on fuel and more reliable than the d16

d12D/F got two expencive EGR valves. quad price of ISX EGR) LOL

D13 is the other thing with rear cam gears.

May be there is a reason to find ISX w/o DPF?

I'd stay away from d16 engines. Big money for parts and service
