Sooo finally received my 1099..not a bad year considering the way freight went into the toilet.
What I noticed from last year:
Fuel cost was lower(thanks to NASTC and fuel prices going down)
    Maintenance was low.
    I averaged 4.5 days/week worked.

Once I get everything together I'll share some numbers.

M915A4, gentleroger and 91B20H8 Thank this.

i figure as much. i just have what i make and want to see if its comparable or close to it. My job in the government has been at such a standstill for 10 years. constant cuts to employees and stagnant wages. and im maxed out at my position. no where to really go lol

If you think government work is stagnant then you'll really hate trucking, our jobs seem to only get worse and the pay seems to only go down.

ive been at my current job 11 years, the president and pentagon dictate our pay, benefits etc. When the government shuts down, so do i. The Army reserves has gotten worse with its pussification of soldiers lol. the best part of my job is when i have to road test the equipment and im out on the road. and stagnant as in i literally cant move from where i am. Until my boss dies or retires at 60. we will see. worst part is i live in New England so any regional job is in and out of this cluster

Yes im a miltech. 11 years. cant retires for another probably 25 i could retire military in 3 years but would lose my job. You have to stay in the army to keep my job. Politics involved now is unbelievable. Right now the 99th RSC is holding my personal medical card i got through a private doctor for something they dont like. Even though i passed and doctor signed everything. Wich makes me not able to update my self registered med card in Massachusetts. So technically i can lose my CDL because the Army thinks they are god. #### got old 5 years ago lol
