So I hear that if you run in Alaska or the Middle East you can make a ridiculous amount of money. I hear the experience and knowledge you gain is unlike anything else and that is really appealing to me. I'm single and no kids and I don't need home time. If overseas pays what I've heard, I'd be willing to do a year or two or three contract.
I have a year and a half experience. Learned on 10 speeds and for the past year driven mostly automatics. I have hazmat, tanker, double triples, passenger, etc. No moving violations. I have done solo driving (average 3,000 - 3,500 miles a week), team driving (we averaged nearly 7,000 miles a week) and I was also a trainer. It's been a fast paced career so far and so grateful I got involved in this industry.
I don't know what other information I can provide to help get feedback from you guys but feel free to ask. And thank you in advance for any information you are willing to give.

No alcohol tolerated in many parts of the middle east. So be advised.

It's a status symbol for a man to have a cute little pre-teen boy toy.
In Tunisia the prison warden pimps out the little boys of the convicts and the money reduces the sentence of the convict. The mother sets up a tent outside the prison where her husband is serving time and pimps the little boys to the men that come looking for that. A cut of the money goes to the warden.
Middle East is a sick part of the world. Ask anyone that's been there, civilian or military vet. Now I have a headache!taxihacker66, Pullin2, jammer910Z and 9 others Thank this. -

My dad spent a week in Yemen once when they were attempting to set up a community college program. It was a colossal failure.
