Should I ever go o/o, I fully intend to get a train horn just for that purpose... People have skirted around me to stop on the tracks at stop lights. If there's not enough room for me to be completely off the tracks and away from the arms then I always make sure I stop before.

...it'd be so much fun blowing that train horn at the dumb-####s that want to stop on the tracks.

It's entirely possible that he stalled on the tracks. But... although it's not a forgone conclusion, if proper track crossing procedure is followed (which very few actually practice ) this isn't likely to have happened in the event being a stall. No shifting of gears while crossing the tracks. At least that's how I remember it being written , in an effort to prevent just such an event.

Who knows? Easy to judge. We weren't there.
