I have an extra truck just sitting parked I was wondering if there's any companies that would simply use my truck and pay me a sort of rental fee, is there anything like that out there?

Be brave and hire a driver and lease it to a company you feel comfortable with

No not really, however I had one when I got started as a fleet owner and I called a few companies who pre-qualified drivers for owners and leased onto them when I found a good driver. This gave me the quick move into fleet ownership.

Don't do it. If that guy runs over someone, you WILL be sued. Plus they will just tear your #### up.

Would you run over someone? Would you tear up his equipment? No and no? You aren't the only good driver out there. He can find a good one if he looks. I'm a good one. I'm just not in the job market right now.

Actually............Your better off just selling it, Risks will never add up the same doing what you suggest.

If its a junker worth scrap- an eaasy $5k from the scraspyard...If its a 20-30k good used truck..Just sell it...
