and i'm fine with that first portion. But I don't need a threepeat echo or fourpeat echo to tell me what 2 or 3 others already told me above (see several posts above from multiple members).
Read the question. answer the question. It's really that simple. If I want to know what the consequences or ask for opinions on if I should x, y, z then I'll create a thread asking that. I don't get why it's so difficult to keep things ON TOPIC around this forum. it's very frustrating and it's quite rude of those that can't/won't/don't respect that. -

you should throw away your career with your current company so you can find work with a company that will let you idle your truck.
Oldironfan, nshore harleyguy and GrapeApe Thank this. -
Probably the easiest fix would be to find a company that allows idling rather than skirt the system set in place by your current employer.

if i could get a better job I would, but right now I'm where I am, until I get enough experience to go somewhere else. Job hopping won't make things any better. -
Might void the warranty, though.nshore harleyguy, X-Country and mgrantes Thank this. -
lol. most likely! -
I found that wrapping a bandana around the sensor and heat warmer helped to keep things in place, as well keeping the hand warmer insulated and she idled all night last night for the complete 10 hours. I was a happy camper!
looks like I don't have to worry about it much longer, I'm getting a new truck soon. A freightliner cascadia! woot!nshore harleyguy and Highway Hypnosis Thank this.
