I've been up and down those ramps many times loading out of ak steel, and unloading up there at the steel plant behind ak. The length of those poles, he should've had escorts on his 6 because of his length. If he didn't he's in some serious trouble, if he did, the escorts are in serious trouble, and he's not gonna like his psp score or his fines after. I can't see that particular ramp being the best option. The red circle is the yard he wouldve loaded at. They just recently closed down and sold off their remaining poles to buyers. The red line is his route. The yellow line is the other option that they could've used. I'm assuming he was permitted, if so and they routed him this way, then he had better have had escorts. And if i recall, that length wouldve required state police escorts Screenshot_20160925-225604.jpg

I would not be surprised if they try to say it was their GPS that was at fault.

@Gunner75 ##### man...I think you are soooo correct. I don't run that enough to know the laws. That was a great visual btw. My brother worked for AKback in the day, I know the area well. Wonder if he WAS in fact, legal? Thanks for the info, bro. Be safe and keep me posted if you hear more.

I'm not sure if it's a plant, or just a processor of poles. There is a rail line that is adjacent to that yard just to the east boardering the property. That picture is taken with eastbound to the top of the picture

He was most likely permitted but I would be curious if his permit route. For the record he should have a pilot car but he's still the one in trouble, they're there to help but it's his baby all the way the pilot car isn't in any trouble. Tail swing will get you in a lot of trouble if you aren't careful.

    Lepton1 and Gunner75 Thank this.
