Any CDL companies in New York city that will pay for my training?

    I'm 21 and is interesed in getting my cdl but I don't have all of the money for it do anybody know some good school in the NYC area

    There's a school In park slope Brooklyn that offers free cdl training. It's 151 5th ave called red hook on the road. image.jpg

    I think New England Tractor Trailer has a campus now in the Bridgeport CT area. You could probably take the train there. They have financial aid if you qualifiy

    My fault you have to test for NY. I don't think they do that. I know they have a MA campus and Rhode Island as well and they test those students out in those states your close to CT call them up see what they have to say... NETTTS is the name

    What do YU guys think about getting a company to pay for it then driven for them for 12 months. Any of YU guys in here did that befor

    Nothing at all wrong with it. Try Earl Henderson Trucking Company. Good outfit running reefers coast-to-coast. Probably have you in class within a week.
    This company will bus or Amtrak you to the school and provide a private hotel room(one person) and 3 meals a day during schooling.
    They have a good pay package; guranteed minimum pay for 2100 miles a week plus $.38 cpm. The website is a little out of date on pay, so give them a call.
    You will need original birth certificate and orginal social security card.

    Also take:
    sleeping bag and pillow
    steel toed boots-slip on type are best
    work gloves-cheap ones
    flashlight
