    You don't have to live in or near the state the company is based out of. You only need to be in their hiring area. If they have a terminal close by, that's nice, but not required.

    Unless you're looking for a local gig....

    I was always told that most tanker companies won't allow their drivers to take the vehicle home .. I figured that would be an issue

    I drive for C.C. Cob, they just opened 2 terminals.....Columbus & Winder. Been with them over 2 years and so far I'm pretty happy with them.

    Also check into McTank. We have a Dalton terminal, Atlanta, and I think one other but not surr. I've been with for right at 6 mos now and have no real complaints. No truck cams, trucks run 70, and still on paper logs.
