Any of you escape the truck and get a motel ?

This weekend I resat in Gallup, NM, and all the hotel reviews said the rooms sucked because of all the trains, so I stayed in the truck

 

I favored La Quinta because I had my little dog, always allowed and never a fee. Clean, quiet, and their rewards program paid off quickly.

 

Do it at least once a month, usually at a nicer one as well. I'm in every hotel rewards (loyalty) program there is and have the credit cards to go with them. 80% of the time, I'm staying for free on points because I use CC's to pay for literally everything and I like to spend $ so I rack up the points...

 

Most reviews i take with a grain of salt...so,many people will complain just to complain about something..

 

try at least once a month to hit one up, feels good to stretch out from time to time

 

Isn't staying in motels/hotels just playing bed bug roulette?
Plus I usually find that the temperature is whacked in hotels.
I've asked to use a pool however and have been given the nod to do so. That's been so helpful on super hot days.

 

Depends upon the hotel. Nice ones are, well, nice...and less likely to have problems. Stay at the cheapest place you can find and there's usually a reason WHY it is so cheap. You get what you pay for.
