Congratulations on getting your CDL A and on you Coke a Cola gig...
Just like alreadh stated.... take you time and dont rush...
also, understand there will be frustrating... dont let negative thougnts invade you and control you.... in trucking you can have a day wnere everytning goes wrong... then the next day it all rolls along smoothly.... one day you cant even seem to back into a hole the size of a football field and then the next day you back into a hole witth only inches of spare room with no problem...
the biggest mistake rookies make... is letting themselves get frustrated... or feel bullied by other drivers.... take your time, get out and look.... professional drivers appreciate that... idiot drivers act like idiot... just ignore them... dont let them get you frustrated and on your home time you can amuse hour friends and family by impersonating them and their idiot antics....
good luck to youNealanR Thanks this. -
When you screw up relax and fix it calmly, don't panic and make it worse.

Don't urinate in parking lots.
tucker, NealanR, HorseShoe and 1 other person Thank this. -
AS everyone above said, take your time, slow and easy,,triple check your mirrors when you change lanes,,do easy lane changes ,,plan your route before you leave the yard,,check your load securement and most of all run legal. Avoid backing up be when you do G.O.A.L. Just because the speed limit says 65 or what ever does not mean you have to go that fast,,
